What it does

K18 TripleBright Oxidation Defense Purple Shampoo is a purple toning foam shampoo that helps neutralise unwanted yellow and brassy tones while removing the minerals and metals that contribute to dullness and discolouration. It brightens blonde, silver and grey hair without leaving it feeling dry, helping to keep your colour fresh between salon visits.

Why I recommend it

This is one of my favourite blonde maintenance products. I've never been a huge fan of traditional purple shampoos because, in my experience, they often leave the hair feeling dry. This one genuinely doesn't. It leaves the hair feeling soft while still delivering beautiful toning results.

One thing to know is that because it's a foam, it doesn't lather like a traditional shampoo. I actually find it works best when you shampoo first with your regular shampoo, then use TripleBright as your second cleanse. It spreads through the hair really evenly, which helps avoid those patchy purple areas you can sometimes get with other purple shampoos. I also love that it helps remove the minerals and metals that contribute to blonde hair becoming dull or brassy, keeping your blonde brighter for longer.

How to use

Shampoo your hair first with your regular shampoo, then apply TripleBright evenly through wet hair as your second cleanse. Leave on for 1 to 3 minutes, depending on your desired level of toning, then rinse thoroughly. Follow with your favourite conditioner or treatment. Use up to once a week, or as needed to maintain your blonde.
