How to use

After shampooing, apply evenly through damp hair, concentrating on areas where your red needs refreshing. Comb through for even colour distribution, leave for a few minutes depending on the desired intensity, then rinse thoroughly.

Use as needed to maintain your colour. Reds may benefit from more frequent use, as red pigments tend to fade quickly.

April's tip

Red is one of those colours that can look incredible freshly done, but keeping it vibrant is another story!

A colour-depositing conditioner is one of my favourite ways to maintain that richness between appointments without constantly needing a salon refresh.

Just remember, lighter or more porous sections can grab more pigment, so apply evenly and keep an eye on your colour development. I'd also recommend wearing gloves to avoid staining your hands.
